Photos taken from Lookbook.nu
Living far in the United Kingdom means I wouldn't have the honour to participate in the Coachella.
That, doesn't mean I can't share the festive atmosphere and embrace that coachella look.
Looking at these photos just remind me of the big bright sun which have been missed.

Looking forward to my European graduation trip this June xx

Inspired by my friend's blog (The Whimsical Belle), I was lured to buy a velvet dress when I saw this online.
This blue velvet top you see is indeed a bodycon dress, I'll post the link at the bottom.

The pair of trousers was bought in H&M at a 'slashed' price - £3!!!
It is highly versatile, a perfect match with a white crop top OR a black turtle neck jumper.
(of course, you can also match it with anything else you can come up with)

Dress - Motel Rocks (see link at bottom)
Pants - H&M
Heels - French Connection

Motel rocks velvet dress still on sale!!!  Grab your own piece a.s.a.p.

Shop-till-death-do-us-apart.
Have you ever gave a thought about how to organise your amazing buys?
I've been a big fan of interior design and shaping my own unique wardrobe was always on the list.

I consider all these interior design collections very inspiring, but I'm facing one problem.
As soon as I move back to Hong Kong, there's literally no space at all.
My on-going task will be searching for more inspirations on how to style my own fashion corner in a small flat.
Meanwhile, hope you enjoyed my sharing!
PS. How to style your shoe closet will come up as another post soon. Stay tuned!

Now that I'm approaching my 23rd birthday in a month's time, I've come to realise the importance of skincare.
Good makeup techniques improves first impressions, however good skin is the key to retain one's youth and beauty.

Not sure if you heard about the Clarisonic skin cleansing system, I tried it last summer as my mom got it as a gift.
To be honest, I'm not sure if it was as effective as a lot of people comment on youtube.
I find it quite hectic to rinse off the soap after using and to let it sit dry.
(Click on the video about the Clarisonic cleansing brush)
Disclaimer: I do not own the video, just thought she gave a really clear description.

Anyway, what I wanted to share is Garnier's Exfo-Brusher Wash and a couple of face masks.
When my boyfriend and I saw this thing in the supermarket, we were both attracted by its innovative design.
This facial cleansing gel incorporated the idea of the Clarisonic cleansing brush, but a better version I think.
It has little plastic/silicon tips which doesn't hurt (I swear!) as the exfoliating brush.
You have to twist the cap to the other side (see picture below says OFF) to release the cleansing gel.
Gently push the bottle to release gel to enjoy an easy exfoliating experience.
:: Review :: I've just used it once so far and I felt great after using it.
My face felt deeply moisturised and clean. Surprisingly, it only costs around £4.50, so worth the try!

Next, I want to introduce these face masks to people outside UK.
I'm not sure if you can find them elsewhere in the world, but they only cost £1 per each here in UK.
Most importantly, they are 'real masks'! When I say real, I mean they are not a slice of paper soaked in some water.
:: Review :: I've bought all the flavours I can gather in Boots this time, not sure if there are other flavours.
So far, I have only tried the dead sea mud and peel off passion. They both worked great for me.
Actually, these were recommended by a Chinese friend of mine so I'm sure they fit Asian skin-type too.
Friends who are living in the UK, I highly recommend this

If you have been following my blog, I'm not a big lover of the All-black look.
Out of convenience, I attempted an all-black look for a quick dinner at a Thai Restaurant (yum *v*).

New Look - Heart Stone ring, Concealed wedge boots
Forever 21 - Blue necklace, Turquoise cross ring
Primark - Turtle neck top
Hong Kong - Leggings

If you're wondering how I curled my hair, I hadn't spend much time on it! (I'm serious)
I've used the hot-rollers by Babyliss I bought on my last birthday.
:: Review :: The advantage of using hot rollers is time economy, only takes 5 min to fix them on your hair.
You can then put on makeup or do your house work without having to worry about your untidy hair.
Negative side of using hot rollers is, you don't get to manage how the curls form.
The curls are really tight once the rollers are removed, takes time to form the smooth curls you see in the picture.

Hi girls, here's another beauty haul you've been long awaiting.
I'm sure you all Benefit-holics must have spotted the wide spread adverts on the latest eyeshadow kits.
I didn't buy this kit because I was struck by the adverts, actually I've bought a Bobby Brown lasting cream eye shadow couple months ago, and fell in love with cream eyeshadow.
However, the colour that I bought was a pearl colour, so I was looking for more earth toned cream shadow.
When I saw this eyeshadow kit that contains 2 cream shadows and 4 powder shadows, I was like..cool, I can try many colours at one price.
The cream shadows themselves cost £14 per each and velvet shadows £13.5 per each, but the box kit was only £23.5!!! (Seriously?)
I have been resisting temptation to buy the £36 Naked Palette by Urban Decay which everybody seems to worship.
Therefore, this box kit was wonderful for me.
They come in 3 different box sets. Click HERE to see all the colours.
Apart from the high quality products, I love shopping at Benefit as I felt being treated like a princess.
Even if you're only going to buy one item, the sales assistant are so helpful and patient, I also manage to get 4 test samples (wow)
(Triple performing facial emulsion / It's potent eye cream / Porefessional facial primer / Stay don't stray eye primer)
:: Review :: The colours were great, however I'd be happier if the 2 cream shadows gives more colour.
They seem to blend in with my skin too well, so I had to add another layer of velvet shadow for a more obvious look.

Then, I went to Superdrugs to refill my concealer pen.
I finished my Maybelline FIT ME concealer (left) which was really good, however I decided to switch to the Maybelline Dream Lumi Highlighting concealer (right) for a try because it has a different tip for application.
:: Review :: Overall, I think they're both good but the FIT ME concealer gives more coverage.
In superdrugs, I also found a golden bronzer by Rimmel and BB Cream by Garnier.
I had to say I'm deeply in love with Garnier's products. I use their hand cream, body cream, makeup remover, BB cream and is planning to buy a fake tan for summer.
I was surprised to read that Garnier's products are made in Germany, at such low price with very good quality.
The 3-ring design of this bronzer  .
It comes in a darker usual bronzer colour on its outer ring, followed by a tangerine sparkly colour in the middle, then a little blue circle on the inside (so that after application your face wouldn't look too orangie)

Finally, I can't help but bought these cute socks being dropped next to the queuing isle, abandoned by some customers.
The major reason was I LOVE LIME GREEN, and the froggy was so adorable.
Second reason was, I'm running out of socks, so it justified my act.
Third reason was, it's only £1.5 for 3 pairs of new socks. (Why not?)
Now I can't stop wearing them. I know it's childish, I used to wear plain socks only.
It makes me happy knowing that I'm wearing a little frog inside my shoes during the day, who cares!
